Simathemba Holdings (Pty)LTD is an Environmental, Health & Safety Consultancy that was Established in 2015 but was fully functional in 2018 and it is based in Hammanskraal, North of Pretoria. Simathemaba is a 100% black female owned company and a Level 1 contributor currently focusing at empowering the Historically Disadvantaged Individuals and seek to take advantage of the opportunities in the environmental consultation business.

Lulu Mahlulo

FOUNDER/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Lulu Mahlulo is the Managing Director of Simathemba Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a 100% black-owned Environmental, Health & Safety Consultancy operating from Pretoria and Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Professional Background
Lulu founded Simathemba Holdings in 2015, with full operations launching in 2018. With extensive experience in EHS, she leads the company in delivering practical, compliance-driven solutions for clients in construction, mining, manufacturing, and public sector projects across Gauteng and beyond. As MD, she manages project delivery, client relations, and a team focused on safety culture, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.

Core Services & Expertise
Under Lulu’s leadership, Simathemba Holdings provides:
1. Environmental services – impact assessments, compliance audits, waste management
2. Health & Safety consultancy – risk assessments, safety file compilation, training, and OHS Act compliance
3. Construction site support – safety officer services, incident management, and compliance monitoring
4. Supply of PPE – sourcing and supplying certified Personal Protective Equipment for all industries. Includes head, eye, hand, foot, respiratory protection, and hi-vis workwear tailored to site-specific hazards
5. ISO Management Systems – facilitation and implementation of:
– ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems
– ISO 45001: Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
– ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems

Lulu works hands-on with companies to conduct gap analyses, develop documentation, train staff, and prepare them for certification audits. The PPE supply service ensures clients stay compliant while getting the right gear, right sizes, and on-time delivery for projects and tenders.
